LiliLite is designed by Thijs Smeets.

‘I came up with the idea when lying in bed putting a book away on my bedside table. There was so much stuff on there it all clattered on the floor. I thought; what if I could lie my book on my reading light? I took a pen and started sketching...’

Thijs currently runs his own design studio that speciallizes in designing furniture and lighting. In the past he has desigened products for many well respected companies including MaxMara, Artifort, Nike, Coca Cola and Nokia.
